Havana, Cuba, is the largest city in the Caribbean. From Old Havana or Habana La Vieja by the harbor, Cuba's capital spreads southwest through Centro Habana, Vedado, Playa, and Marianao. Morro Castle guards the harbor mouth to the north, and to the east is Regla, a center for santeria or Cuban voodoo. The famous Havana cigars prized by connoiseurs worldwide are produced at factories in the old town.
Our gallery of Havana travel photos illustrates the varied means of transportation used by the locals. Havana is also an art city with numerous galleries of Cuban painting and sculpture - a musical hot spot dancing to the salsa beat. We hope our pictures of Havana convey the city's allure.
